Welcome to the Music Centre's web page. Here you can find information about all the opportunities available for the students, the staff that run them and the events which take place throughout the year.

The Music Centre is run by a dedicated team of musicians. They are led by the Director of Music, Mr Shaun Riches, who is supported by Mr Ben Cull, Mrs Gina Briant and a number of Hampshire Music Service staff, all of whom wish to provide an enjoyable and worthwhile experience in whatever musical activity the students choose to take part in.

Students from Brookfield Community School, and its link junior schools, can join a wide range of musical activities, and also learn a wide range of instruments taught by experienced peripatetic staff provided by Hampshire Music Service.

If you are planning on buying a new instrument then this is the scheme for you! It allows you to take out a loan to purchase your instrument which can then be repaid in 10 monthly instalments, with no interest!

Our aim is to raise money so that we can continue to grow, develop and improve the quality of music that we provide. Obviously in order to do this we need to raise money. This will be used for new instruments, new music, workshops with specialists and lots more.
